About Us
We began with a simple, foundational belief: your music can sound better. This was the passion of our founder, the late Łukasz Mika—a visionary engineer and artisan who saw the audio cable not as an accessory, but as a critical component in the pursuit of sonic truth. Audiomica Laboratory is the continuation of his uncompromising work.
We are not merely a company; we are a design laboratory, a workshop, and the custodians of a philosophy where science and craft are inseparable, and the only metric that matters is the emotional impact of the music. We exist to be the point of reference for the world’s most demanding audiophiles.
The philosophy of Łukasz Mika is the compass that guides every decision we make.
He rejected the false choice between objective measurement and subjective experience, understanding that both are essential.
Our design process is therefore a fusion of rigorous engineering and profound musicality.
Every concept begins in our laboratory with advanced analysis, but its fate is decided in our dedicated listening room, built in 2005 for this exact purpose. We do not design for "parameters on paper"; we design for the spine-tingling realism that can only be judged by the human ear. This unforgiving process means that only one in five prototypes ever earns the right to become an Audiomica product.
A high-end audio system is a delicate ecosystem where every component interacts. Why, then, should the listener be forced into a game of trial-and-error, hoping that an interconnect from one brand will work in harmony with a speaker cable from another? We consider this a fundamental design failure. Our philosophy mandates the creation of complete, sonically coherent cable series.
Each series—from Black to Consequence—is a meticulously tuned set of conductors, dielectrics, and geometries, designed to function as a unified whole. This approach ensures a predictable, synergistic result, freeing the listener from guesswork and delivering a sound that is balanced, integrated, and true to our original design intent.
Precision, in its highest form, is a human attribute. While machines excel at repetition, they lack judgment.
This is why every Audiomica cable is assembled by hand, from start to finish, by a single skilled technician. This is not a romantic notion; it is a practical necessity.
It is the only way to ensure the perfect tension of a shield braid, the flawless integrity of a solder joint, and the thousand other microscopic details that separate an adequate cable from an exceptional one.
Our workshop is a place of methodical focus, where each cable is treated not as a unit of production, but as a precision instrument being crafted for a specific, uncompromising purpose.
We stand behind our work not with anonymous warranty cards, but with our names. Every cable is accompanied by a By-Name Quality Confirmation certificate. This document carries the unique serial number and production date, but more importantly, it bears two personal signatures: that of the artisan who assembled the entire cable, and that of the inspector who conducted the final electromechanical verification.
This is our promise made tangible. It is your guarantee that the cable you hold was not merely manufactured, but built by individuals who are personally accountable for its perfection.
Following the passing of our founder in 2022, the Audiomica team did not falter.
The closest collaborators, engineers, and artisans who worked alongside Łukasz Mika for years now carry his legacy forward.
We are not successors; we are continuators.
The team is dedicated to refining existing designs, developing new products, and expanding our portfolio, but always with the founder's compass as our guide. Every new creation is another chapter in the same story: a story of signal purity, meticulous detail, and the profound power of music.

Our vision for the future is the same as it was at our founding: to create audio cables that act as a clear, unobstructed conduit between the listener and the soul of the recording. We will continue to innovate, to research, and to listen. We will continue to build products that offer our clients satisfaction for years, removing the need for constant change. Łukasz Mika defined what a modern, research-driven, yet deeply musical audio cable should be. Our mission is to ensure that standard endures, growing stronger and more resonant with every cable we create.
Timeline
Company Milestones
2005
Łukasz Mika brings Audiomica Laboratory to life. The initial years were devoted strictly to research and development—refining cable designs, techniques, and every detail of execution. The brand was not yet commercially available; there was still extensive implementation and testing underway.
2007
Audiomica Labs’ first offering began with the Mica Transparent cable, featuring a unique analog signal filter: DFSS (Double Filtering Signal System). It used a proprietary “Silver–Alloy” conductor—an alloy combining silver and copper.
2010
Within a short period of time, the company established a new headquarters in Gorlice. With more space, the technical and research departments could be separated from production, which led to the creation of a new brand: Acoustic Points.
This period also marked the debut of the first electrical signal filter, while distribution expanded to Poland and the Scandinavian countries.
2011
Audiomica Laboratory began gaining access to advanced metallurgical technologies, and our research department initiated the development and use of carbon techniques in the combustion synthesis of nanostructured nanomaterials.
2014
A new generation of anti-interference filters was developed and implemented in the latest cable lines, including Excellence, Ultra Reference, and Consequence. In parallel, a commercial version of the “Power Station” vertical power strip was launched.
2016
Audiomica Laboratory continued to grow, moving into a new office and incorporating the brand into what is now known as Associated Audio Brands.
This stage also brought the premiere of Smart Couplers and new filter housings made from a patented antistatic material, with further development continuing.
Distribution expanded to cover the USA, China, Japan, the Philippines, and most of Europe.
2018
Research continued, and major technological and color updates were introduced across the three highest series. Audiomica also implemented subcontracting programs for world leaders in the audio industry.
Building on advanced R&D, we created what was described as the world’s only machine capable of braiding conductors at tempering temperatures—a first for the industry.
2019
From 2012 onward, Audiomica Laboratory’s projects expanded across all areas of powering audio-visual systems.
2021
Audiomica continues to strengthen its position in the global market by investing in new products, developing its sub-brand, and expanding its distribution network.
The current offering includes 42 cables for audio applications in 270 configurations. New projects are already in development and will join the lineup soon.
