The Sound of Precision
The Founder's Vision
From a small workshop to an international benchmark in high-end audio — the story of Łukasz Mika and Audiomica Laboratory
Łukasz Mika — Legend
of Polish High-End Audio
It began with a fervent passion for music. From this passion, Łukasz Mika forged a brand that would become a benchmark for the world’s most discerning audiophiles.
The late founder of Audiomica Laboratory was a rare breed: a man who blended visionary thinking with the meticulous precision of a craftsman and the unyielding discipline of an engineer.
He passed away in 2022, but he left behind a formidable legacy—a living foundation upon which the brand continues to build. Today, his colleagues and associates carry his work forward, guided by the very same design philosophy.
„No compromises. Only
the music matters”
– Łukasz Mika
The Spark
It did not begin in a boardroom or with a marketing plan. It began in a small workshop, fueled by a fervent passion for music and an engineer’s refusal to accept the status quo. Lukasz Mika believed that the cable was not a mere accessory, but a critical component in the audio chain—one that demanded the same rigor and artistry as an amplifier or a loudspeaker. From this belief, a laboratory was born.
The Forging of a Reputation
Over fifteen years, a small workshop of enthusiasts grew into an internationally recognized brand. Audiomica earned its name not through advertising, but through performance. Our cables became a benchmark for reference-quality, sought after for demonstration systems and comparative listening sessions at the industry’s most important events.
The proof of this relentless work is a portfolio that remains one of the most impressive in the industry: over 60 proprietary products across 6 complete series, available in more than 200 configurations. This scale was not an end in itself. It was the result of a systematic pursuit of sonic coherence, achieved through meticulous selection of conductors and geometry, ensuring that every series—from signal and speaker cables to power cords—forms a complete, logical whole that can be perfectly matched to a specific audio system. This allows an audiophile to build a truly unified and predictable transmission chain.
Łukasz’s ambition was to unite scientific measurement with the real-world experience of listening. The goal was never „specifications on paper,” but a musicality you could feel from the very first note.
The objective was never 'neutrality’ as a mere number on a chart, but a purity of signal and a natural timbre that allows music to breathe.
The Era of Innovation
Audiomica became a laboratory of genuine innovation, formalized through its dedicated R&D division, Acoustic Points. It delved deep into materials science, vibration damping, and the control of electrostatic charges. This fundamental research led to the development of components like our proprietary splitters and couplers, and ultimately, to technologies that set new standards for signal purity. These are not gimmicks; they are the results of exhaustive research in materials science, shielding, and vibration control.
Among our most significant breakthroughs:
DPC
Double Coating Process is our proprietary dual-galvanization process that improves the surface quality, conductivity, and long-term durability of our connectors. The result is a more stable, reliable connection for years to come.
CTB
Contrary Twisted Braids is a simple name for a powerful concept. By twisting braids in opposite directions, we create a shield that effectively minimizes the influence of electromagnetic fields and dramatically reduces interference.
DFSS, TFSS & TFCT
These signal and power filtering solutions are engineered to reduce background noise, hum, and mains-borne distortion while preserving the full dynamics and micro-dynamics of the recording.
POM-C AP50
The unique antistatic properties of this modified material stabilize the system's operating conditions, minimizing the negative impact of electrostatic charges and ensuring long-term, repeatable performance.
It is the synergy of these solutions that sets Audiomica apart. We deliver a coherent system of technical advancements that lead to a blacker background, superior resolution, and a more natural timbre—consistently and predictably. Instead of isolated 'special effects,’ we offer a complete system of engineering that delivers predictable, repeatable results.
A Respected Voice
This trust is not accidental; it is earned through years of consistent performance, validated by regular reviews in the industry’s leading publications and numerous international awards.
A company’s true worth is often measured by the company it keeps. Łukasz’s vision extended beyond his own brand. He co-founded the Polish Audio Cluster (PEKA) to elevate Polish engineering on the world stage. This was part of his legacy: building a community where knowledge is shared, standards are raised, and the country’s brands rise together.
Internationally, Audiomica cables were chosen to complete reference systems for some of the world’s most respected high-end manufacturers, including AVM and TAD.
A particularly noteworthy collaboration was with Andrea Pivetta, whose visionary projects of unparalleled scale were wired with Audiomica to meet their extreme engineering demands. This is the trust we have earned.
2022: Passing of the Torch
In 2022, the music world lost a true craftsman. Following the passing of Łukasz Mika, the Audiomica team did not miss a beat. His closest colleagues—the continuators of his work—have dedicated themselves to carrying his legacy forward. They continue to refine existing designs and introduce new ones, all while remaining faithful to the brand’s founding philosophy.
Every new product is not a departure, but another chapter in the same story: a story about signal purity, attention to detail, and the music that speaks louder than any technical chart.
Why a Legend?
The Enduring Principle.
Łukasz Mika is a legend because he defined what modern, research-based, and deeply musical audio cabling should be. He proved that knowledge, craftsmanship, and courage could transform a „simple wire” into a precision instrument.
His legacy is also one of inseparable engineering and craftsmanship. Every cable was built with painstaking care—from its conductor geometry and shielding to the choice of dielectric and termination method—its performance validated not just by measurement, but by its adherence to the intended sonic signature of its series. The foundation was always uncompromising materials—including 6N/7N OCC copper, pure silver, and precisely selected dielectrics—chosen not for their specifications alone, but for their contribution to the final sound. This is the source of our consistency: the performance you read about in reviews is the performance you will experience in your own system.
He built a brand that is recognized and respected worldwide. But above all, he left behind a compass: the principles that guide Audiomica to this day. That compass continues to point the way forward, with music as the ultimate verifier of truth in sound.
What he designed, documented, and delivered has become the reference point for thousands of users. Today, that legacy lives in every cable we make. And it will live on in every cable and every detail of our products, because music remains the ultimate verifier of truth in sound.
